








Strategic design as a driver for business development
Problem
Public Arkitekter were formally part of the Danish train company, DSB, operating under the name DSB Arkitekter. Becoming independent in January 2009, the company needed to build a unique identity yet retain its history and the goodwill built up over many years.
Solution
The development of the brand and design solution springs from Public Arkitekter’s business strategy. As such, the project required a co-creation process and client engagement. Workshops, pre-design process and visual prototyping led to the design result: a more expressive and modern identity that opens up their entry into new markets, yet retains their history and company story.
Result
The combination of design strategy and focused implementation created an identity that is a key business tool, driving growth.
